The work of God is our vocation in our families and community. We look not to enlarge outreach at Christ Church but to deepen it. To see outreach not as a project, but a calling. We do not wish to improve ourselves, but to change the world on Christ's terms and to see the world with God's eyes.
We have no choice to make in matters of outreach. The parable of the Good Samaritan ends with these words from Jesus, "Go, and do thou likewise."
In grateful response to the love of God given to us in Jesus Christ, the faith community of Christ Church is called to live out Christ's love that brings transformation and new life, both within the Christ Church community and to our brothers and sisters who suffer from poverty, violence, and injustice.
