Special Services
Combined Service Homecoming Sunday September 7, 2008
On September 7, when we celebrate our Homecoming
and Open House, we will join together for an outdoor service at
10:00 AM combining both the 9:00 and
the 11:15 congregations, followed by an all-parish picnic. Although
we encourage everyone to attend the 10:00 service, we will still
offer a service at 8:00 AM and at 5:00
PM. Our architecture, lovely and
historic as it is, does not allow us to worship together as one
congregation. This is an opportunity to celebrate who we are, to
reach out to the surrounding community and to commission our
ministries as a community of faith for the next program year. So
bring your sun block, lawn chairs and picnic baskets and we will kick
off a new year together.
One Bread, One Body, One Lord of All. One
Service, One Hope, One Home.
