Rebuilding Together
One day a year
Rebuilding Together volunteers assist in making repairs to homes of low
income elderly and disabled individuals who are unable to make the
repairs themselves.
Ministry Needs
Painting, low
skilled repairs to wood work and plumbing, etc. No skills needed. If you
can hold a paintbrush, you can make a difference.
Training Provided
Negligible training
which can easily be acquired at the annual event.
Meetings and Time Required
Only one day a
year, on the last Saturday in April, for as few or as many hours as the
volunteer can spare. Occasionally, the special needs of the individual
being served may necessitate additional work, scheduled for a nearby
date.
Benefits
Incredible
satisfaction of helping a neighbor in need, as well as wonderful
fellowship in working with other parishioners of
Christ
Church.
